Type this, type that ??
Bent bolt, straight bolt ??
Don't know Arisakas. What am I looking at here?
Best I've been able to find is on castle-thunder.com, it is a type 99 made by Toyo Kogyo Arsenal, 33rd series.
Is that about right?

Word of advice. If the screws have a dent do not attempt to disassemble the rifle. You'll end up doing more harm than good

Was that bolt bent by Bubba?

Doesn't look like the bolt bends on sniper rifles here - http://www.gunboards.com/sites/banzai/RifPrimer/Mod99/Sniper/Sniper.htm#Top_of_Sniper

33 series made in 1944

bolt was bent . Might be original bolt, it looks like they started to use welded safeties a few serial #'s later in the 33 series. Does the bolt match?

Transition t99 Arisaka. This wouldnt have the Monopod or AA wings

screws staked? Get a photo of the kanji behind the trigger gaurd to see if its the correct stock. Should be similar to the one at the end of the serial/arsenal

looks like a decent one , you can probably get the bolt bent back

As others have pointed out, its a 33rd series. Made during the first half of 1944.
Bent bolt is wrong. Is it from another rifle (a sniper rifle), or bent bubba after the war? The safety should be a Type C for your rifle serial number range. Not the Type A safety that you have. Might be a correct safety for the bolt though. The rifle never had a dust cover, though the grooves are present. Never had a pod, though the pod block is present.
What is the serial number on the bolt?

Also, your rifle sports a Type A stock (two drain holes). It should have a Type B stock (no drain holes). I think that bubba did some work on your rifle, post WW2.
