Question for you C&R guys.

If I have M1 Garand, with receiver dated 1942, with new wood does it still qualify as cash & carry?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

I have 3 Garands I bought from CMP last year. One is called the CMP Special. Everything is the same except the stock. The stock is brand new. Still qualifies for C&R. All 3 of them were made in the mid 50's.

As long as it is still in original configuration then yes. That means no thumb hole stock etc.:D

If it does not have a military lithium grease pot in it it may not qualify
