I live here in Thousand Oaks and work for the county where I get to spend a lot of time in the hills. Doing this I see tons of privately owned ranges everywhere and it kills me to have to drive at least an hour for a good outdoor range. Do any of you own or know of anyone with private land to shoot out here on locally. If so let me know. Thank you.

You, me and a lot of other people would like to know the answer to the question. That's why people who own private ranges or even just know of a "private spot", will not advertise it.

It really is a shame, there is so much land in Los Padres and I literally only know of 1 unregulated range (Glass Factory) and only a few handful of public ranges (Piru) or private membership ranges (Ojai Valley).

Yes it kills me. The private places I see while at work make my toes curl just wishing the owner would meet me and say "come on by!"
