Last week I went into Broadway Bait & Gun to buy some shotgun shells. I bought #1 buck 2 3/4" for $6.99 a box. Even though it's not a popular round that seemed kinda high to me. I'd like to buy a lot more if I can find better pricing.

Elk grove walmart is cool depends on what you are buying but ive found the 9mm and 7.62x39 to be some of the best priced in sacramento

+1 with Wally world. However, their current stock is quite embarrassing. Wild Sports sells .22lr AE 38 grain CPHP for $16.9+tax for a box of 400. That is the best I have found.

We can't buy ammo online in Sacramento.

I went to the Walmart in Natomas and they don't carry ammo. The same applies to Sports Authority across the street. But the S.A. on Arden does.

Is there an ordinance prohibiting gun/ammo sales in Natomas?

The ordinance involving ammunition is for the city of Sacramento. If Natomas is part of the city, the ordinance applies. If it's county, you're GTG.
If you're unsure, look at the street sign (the one that has the name of the street itself). IIRC, if it's green, it is city. If it's white, it's county. Or the other way around.

It varies around town. The Gun Range in North Highlands had 500 reloaded 9mm for $99 while across the street at Ammo Depot 500 reloaded was $106. There is also Discount Shooters Supply up in Roseville. For Sacramento City places would be River City Gun Exchange, Last Stand Readiness&Tactical.

My wife and I checked out Ammo Depot last weekend. They are small but do have a

decent selection and their prices are great.

I got a box of Fed blue box 7mm mag for 26 cheapest price online for that ammo is like 23.

We also picked up a box of 9mm defense ammo Hornaday for 20 for 25 rds.

Went to RCGex today because walmart was bare. Picked up several hundred rounds of blazer brass .40s&w 165grain for 17 a box. They had plenty.

I too was in there on thurs last week, their supply is very very limited, they didn't have any 12 ga at reasonable pricing.

However I liked the hospitality and service there.
