I would like to purchase a .44 magnum revolver, double action.

Let me know what you have and how much you want for it, I'm looking for a reliable beater for field carry when I go hunting. If you have a Taurus Raging Bull that would be perfect, let me know.

OC/LA area.

If you have a Raging Bull in .454 Casull I would consider that too.

Why double action pistols only?

Do you anticipate doing a lot of double action 44 Mag shooting?

because this will be a hunting side arm, i want to be able to fire the gun DA without cocking the hammer first.

I've only shot whitetail deer and turkeys with my Super Blackhawk. Although I did carry it on a couple of black bear hunts but never got a shot at one.

Especially for hunting I want the most controlled, aimed shot possible which for me means shooting single action.

I have a blued 7.5" Ruger Redhawk. There was a for sale post up about a month back. I have a new Smith model 29 so the ruger is redundant and only $395.
