gonna start varmint hunting soon.
Wondering if anyone has any good areas to check out for small varmints.
im in the east bay area(contra costa county) and looking for somewhere within around 2 hours drive.
please help.

Hmmmm... Within 2 hours? Your best best within that drive time will probably be farmers around Rio Vista if you can get permission to shoot, but they usually have enough shooters to help them, but never hurts to politely ask.

I've gone varmint shooting way up North; shooters/hunters paradise. If you ever just want to jump in a car and drive around to BLM lands, let me know.

well 2 hours will get me out to colfax/auburn area, panoche hills
just wondering if anyone knew any decent areas.

Actually, come to think of it, there are a lot of BLM and farm land within 2 hours of Contra Costa... Sorry about that.
