I suspect they are deleting posts that don't agree with Leno - I saw no posts there except mine.

Actually, that's kind of funny. I don't see any comments from anyone except me.

This is what I wrote.

This is so typical of the hoplophobic liberal socialist elitist. As has been noted by city and county officials, this kind of ban will have no effect on reducing violence. In fact as more and more bans are put into effect, violent crime will increase. What Mark Leno and all of the hoplophobes in San Francisco should do is check out progun maps of the United States and see for themselves how free 80% of the U.S. is as opposed to socialist enclaves like California, New York, New Jersey or Washington D.C. .Furthermore, maybe socialist politicians in the bay area should actually come out of their ivory towers and see for themselves just how law abiding legitimate gun owners really are. Visit a gun range, speak to the people and actually learn about firearms and the people that are really being effected.

Gun bans in D.C., that are the most restrictive in the nation didn’t work, do the socialist politicians of the bay area actually think that theirs will do any better? Groups like Pink Pistols in San Francisco are as opposed to these bans as the staunchest conservative gun owner.

The problem with California right now is that California has created a haven for criminals and their anti-social behavior. Criminals from outside of California come to California because law abiding citizens are still disarmed by the government while 80% of the U.S. enjoys the right of self defense. Kamala Harris’ reputation of not prosecuting criminals is deplorable, why not put a ban on her? She’s bears far more responsibility for propagating crime than lawful gunowners.

Here's what I posted in case it gets deleted.

Mr. Leno,

I am a bit confused as to why we need an outright ban of gun shows at the Cow Palace. In the article published in the SF Chronicle, it states, “City officials say they know some guns are sold illegally after the gun show.” My question to you is, if this known illegal activity is going on, how come DCPD, CADOJ, Sherrif’s dept, or BATFE agent presence hasn’t been stepped up to curb this activity? If it’s a known fact this happens, then it should be realitively easy to stop these illegal gun sales. I have been attending gun shows in the Bay Area for over 20 years (I’m 30 now) and have yet to ever hear or read of any arrests made in regards to this “well known illegal activity.” Rather than punish the law abiding gun owners in this state, why don’t you propose legislation to provide more funding for law enforcement presence at these gun shows to ensure these illegal activities (if there really are any) cease.

I posted my response (and can see it) but I can't see anyone else's.

I posted - BTW, it makes sense to me. A two day gun show 4 or 5 times a year is responsible for 365 days a year worth of crime.

Apparently the 1st Amendment is just as important as the 2nd to these tools. :banghead:

Leno is a tool! Don't waste your time posting on his blog. We need to hit the rest of the assembly BIG TIME when he puts his BS legislation up to try to shut down the gun shows.

I just checked the link and all I see is my old comment. I guess this way he can argue with himself and not have to answer our questions.

They have a link to the the San Francisco Chronicle (SFGate) article on his legislation. Last time I checked, the comments on that site/article were 22 against the legislation, 1 for. I don't think these guys are very bright or adept at what they are doing. Unfortunately, they are tools of a bigger, brighter, broader conspiracy (my signature not withstanding.)

I tried to let him know how I feel, but it seems I'll be the first one to say anything! It certainly looks like the rest of you guys got deleted.

Poor Mark. Evidently, he's not getting the message he wants to hear.

Good.

When I go on there, I can see my comment. I don't think his blog allows others to see comments left by others. Only your own comment. If you look at any of his other blogs, you won't see any comments from anyone. I believe the comments left are private.

That is exactly how it works. He doesn't want the rabble stealing his thunder. That is jus there to make you feel good. You're not going to change that tool's mind on anything. Whenever he is quoted in the SF Chronicle, go the SFGate and leave a comment on that story, those are out there for everyone to see.
