Only makes sense, after all we are now allowing pilots who have completed firearm training to carry hand guns on flights.

I like that idea. Another thought would be to hire retired police officers for the schools.

I've been considering Tennessee for years. It's a beautiful place, I love everything about it. Except Al Gore... not crazy about Al, but every acorn tree is going to drop a nut sooner or later. ;)

Honestly, the right for teachers to carry if they so choose is a great idea. I also support a trained and armed security officer per school. We're never going to stop every idiot, but we can make a better effort and that effort doesn't include taking guns away from the good guys.
