Hi all,

After 2 days of unsuccessful googling, I would like to ask the respected forum.

I'm a Canadian legally owning a CZ 75 SP01 Shadow. Full frame handgun, mag capacity 10 rounds, factory stock configuration (no threaded barrel, no hair trigger etc.)

I've signed up for a frontsight course in Las Vegas NV. I would possess the ATF 6NIA permit and a letter from Frontsight confirming my course, however I'm not sure about the peculiarities of the Californian legalities.

I was wondering, can I legally transport the gun from Los Angeles airport to Las Vegas in a friend's car? (Unloaded, locked in in its hard case with a padlock and trigger lock, stowed in the trunk.)

Thanks a lot and happy holidays!

Yes.

What you suggest you will do is exactly right. (Don't need the trigger lock for California, but doesn't hurt anything.)

Enjoy your class.
