Hey folks,
The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that the Illinois ban on CCW is unconstitutional based on the USSC's recent ruling. The court gave Illinois legislators 180 days to act approriately. NRA is vowing to make Illinois a "shall issue" state. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2012/12/robert-farago/nra-illinois-will-be-a-shall-issue-state/
This could set a legal precedent and an oportunity for us to, at least for our grandkids, take action in California if 2A rights win a "shall issue" victory in Illinois.
I'm going to watch like a hawk as this thing unfolds.

Just for future reference, it's easier to identify the case if your thread title includes the plaintiffs and defendants - in this case Moore and Madigan.

Having looked up that detail, it's easier to spot other threads on the same topic, and avoid dupes.
