I'm trying to get my finger prints for my Utah CCW application but I'm getting blow off my my local LEO agencies.

Does anybody know a place in the South Bay where you can get fingerprints done?

Try the DMV. Last I heard you can make an appt and pay a small fee but they will do the prints.

Do they need to be ink rolled, or is Livescan acceptable?

The outfits that do Utah approved training usually can take care of that. CCW USA Diego conducts the Utah/Florida/San Diego CCW training does them. www.CCWUSA.com

They have to be ink not LiveScan. My Utah CCW Instructor does not provide finger prints. Just the classroom/range time.

I recommend this place:

671 Aldo Ave. #6 Santa Clara, Ca. 95054
408-986-9005

He is near Reed's Indoor Range. He did my fingerprinting last year for Utah CCW. Certified by the State of California as a Fingerprinter.

I know it's a trek, but the Santa Barbara county sheriff had no problem giving me a fingerprint card.

Culver City Police Department does them without appointment. Call ahead to get hours. Took me 10 min.

Try the UPS Store. Some of them offer fingerprinting services.

The one near my office does. It's listed under Additional Products and Services.

I noticed the one in Newark (next to Newark Java) does.

You do not need a LE agency to provide prints for Utah permits, but you do need one for Florida. So just find a notary, mail boxes etc for your Utah prints.

My local Sherif's office will do finger prints...either livescan or paper, for a fee. The appointment time is long however.
