Just got this from BerettaUSA customer support:

Too bad. For those who are familiar with Beretta's PX4, this is indeed sad news. IMHO, the PX4 and .45 ACP is the perfect combination.

If it's not already on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale, it won't. And I don't see a PX4 with a 3" barrel listed. Sure wish Beretta brought out both the .45 and the Sub LAST year. Oh well.
