One of the magazines the came in the factory case with my new Gen3 Glock23 holds 12 rounds, but the openings on the back show it as a 10 rounder. Anybody ever had this?

Congratulations and enjoy your new mag... you just discovered one of the ways you can legally acquire a +10 capacity mag.

It doesn't hurt! :D 10+ mags are legal to own and use.

Wouldn't want to use that magazine in question in an actual shooting to defend oneself, after having posted about it. Might not be favorable in a court of law. Isn't California great?

I'm not looking for help. Simply asking if this is common

If you're worried, Just contact Glock, and ask them to send you a replacement. If not, enjoy your new magazine.

Why, nothing is illegal about owning or using a 10+ mag.
