Other info: I am selling a Marlin Golden 39A Montie unfired in the original box from 1969 based on serial number 69 73XX. The only issue that keeps it from being mint are a few small spots of rust on the barrel and rear sight. The gun was bought and at in the garage unused until recently when it was passed down to me. I am selling to fund a bolt rifle for long range shooting.
I am kind of guessing on the price so if you feel it is to high and would like to explain why another price is fair and I will be open to that price. For those that are just browsing enjoy the picture of a great 22.

New in the box, and truly pristine, the gun would be fairly priced at about $600, in my opinion. With the rust pitting shown, the value is much less. Sorry, but you asked for an opinion.

Yep, since you asked I probably won't get banned....

This one is selling for $400...

...and is likely in better condition. Number of rounds fired is not really a big deal on a .22, but wood and metal/blue condition is and yours is lacking. $400-$450 is fair for yours.
