I just got my jailed Glock 19. Fired 200 rounds of Winchester white box 115 grain without a single issue. Quite happy with my first handgun.

The only issue I have is my trigger finger is sore. Seems like a common issue with the target style trigger.

congrats!

Sore because of the serration, you can swap in a G17 smooth face trigger in.
Can smooth down the trigger safety so it's flush as well.

My wife loves her G19, it's a bit small for my hands but i'd still rather have it then nothing.

Just put a Glock 19 in jail a few hours ago. It'll be my first Glock. Can't wait to take it out for some range time...

Install a smooth trigger as others suggested.

I just used an exacto knife to cut down the ridges and then sandpaper to smooth it while still leaving a little "grip" to the triggerl Looks good and doesn't hurt. Cost: $0

The 17 trigger assembly will help, but after you shoot it a lot your trigger finger will get used to it

It's actually the safe action trigger in the center that presses against your pad and makes it tender after a lot of shooting. I contoured mine to be flush with the trigger when depressed

18 days and 700+ rounds down the range, the weapon is performing flawlessly. Need to get some snap caps, to load with the live rounds, as I suspect I am flinching quite badly.
