Only serial numbers are on the bolt and bolt carrier and they are matching numbers, No other parts have serial number stamps as they are new, the lower reciever is a FN belgian made with lightening cuts, took it out of the box and unwrapped it myself, the trigger group is marked with the FSE made in the usa, Barrel is a new 21 inch chrome lined argentine barrel from DSA with manufacture markings no serial number This is NOT A SURPLUS PARTS KIT so It wasnt issued to a organization that require serial numbers on everything. I bought the parts and they were on a gun built as a stg 58 clone there was no interest in buying when I put it for sale so here are the parts, except for the reciever that now is on a CA Legal Para FAL to match my real argie para fal.

Thanks for the interest and please feel free to ask more questions

Hi,

The bipod is the original FN G1 type (with rollers) and raised edge, not the Stg 58/G1 type found in the kits. If you want I will email you a pic. I tried to keep it as close as posible to the belgian made Stg 58 thats why it has the wood stock also, it did not have a QD bipod. QD bipods were generally reserved for para models, just like the folding cocking handle and the horizontal type break open, these were done to keep it from fouling during the jump. All parts are included, some are just not seen, the gas tube retaining nut was one of them. Just add receiver and your good to go.

Thanks

Thanks for the interest in my post, I understand that you can purchase a STG 58 kit for about 450 USD more or less, but when you replace the 7 US parts and add the the other non surplus items and have it either parkerized or painted you are looking at a wash. Consider the fact that these parts are ready, all you need is the receiver to have a working rifle. I think sir that is well worth the price, if not underpriced. Again surplus as to opposed to new, and not original in either form unless you have a Austrian/Belgian upper receiver Dont see much in the resale value for a surplus built kit even if it is a STG 58 compared to a rifle built with all new never used parts. But then again thats me

Cheers
