My first 1911 and I wanted a non-clone 1911 so I have in jail a M1991A1 Colt Government Model. Yea, I felt guilty buying all that foreign pistol stuff and though that I should pay some homage to an American brand originally designed by Mr. John Browning by purchasing something new and as close to the original real stuff. God bless America!

I rarely ever see any new Colt brand pistols in any of the gun shops I go to. Enjoy that Colt and good luck.

Found this one at Reeds in Santa Clara. Don't bother visiting Reeds now, they are "out-of-stock."

She's a stunner!

I have to warn you before you pick her up. Colts are more addicting than heroin.

My gf bought her BuckMaster there. I was VERY satisfied with their customer service and the way they explained options, answered questions for her.

Going to the SC gun show today? We'll be there!

My Dad fought WW2 and was issued a 1911. I gave my nephew grandpa's model 92 Winchester but and I will not let go of this 1911. It is a trophy of Dad's courage. My father is the bravest man that I know.
