My new 4 month old Glock 19 Gen3 w/ #3 Dipped Extractor was giving me erractic ejections/BTTF problems, here is a brief update.

Took my Glock 19 to the range today to test out the new #4 OEM Non-Dipped Extractor I bought for 18$ Shipped. Put 200 Rounds down range, and most ejections were to my 4 o'clock. A Few landed on top of my Hat landing on my bill, and a few landed on my right Bicep/Shoulder. After a few magazines in, getting the extractor dirty/worn in a tad, that little issue somewhat stop.

-At least no more constant BRASS TO THE FACE, which is a huge difference.

My next plans are to give Glock a call and see if they can send me a new Recoil Spring and Ejector #30274, so I can swapped them out myself. If not, I will just buy it on ebay and install them myself which isn't hard at all. My last resort is spend 60$ on a Apex Extractor + 2$ non-LCI SLB...maybe

A Few Random Pics:
New OEM extended Slide Release and Ghost 3.5 Connector worked great.

Thanks for your time! I will have another update if I get a new Ejector etc.

Where did you get the #4 OEM Non-Dipped Extractor ?

My new glock 19 gen 3 had the same issue. I called Glock customer service. They said I could ship to them for evaluation or find a local certificated glock gunsmith. But they refuse to give me list. Considering the shipping and FFL transfer cost, it might be cheaper to buy parts and DIY.

Thanks

My glock 34 gen 3 has now developed extractor issues. (stove pipes)
I've read comments from replacing the extractor, plunger and spring, recoil spring, to replacing the entire extractor system.
Let me know what you find out.
