I come from Maui and lived in Monterey for the past 6 years. I grew up around firearms within my family. So naturally am well trained as far as safety goes, which should be #1 to us all. I would, however, like to start getting some tactical training with my wife though. She enjoys shooting too.

I currently own a 9mm, P229 Sig Sauer. I didn't want to go cheap on my first firearm. (I never go cheap when it comes to tools, my truck parts, firearms, dive gear or anything else that should be top-of-the-line quality).
I am seriously eyeballin' a FN Scar 17s for my next purchase and still trying to talk my wife into it. hahaha!

Take care

Ah, nice! I usually go to Laguna Seca Range, but also like the indoor range in Watsonville. You shoot often?

Aloha bra, glad to have you here. you have picked some high quality firearms.I lived on Maui-beautiful place, beautiful people. things I miss, the hidden tidal pools below the Haiku lighthouse, cone sushi at the gas stations,"Aloha" brand soy sauce its da best, the breathtaking yet uncrowded beaches and phrases like "Garens ballbaarins, shoootscuz, nostay,
pau hana, whabodderyu?"
oh and I almost forgot seeing Santa Claus come riding in on it outrigger canoe.
I now live in the East Bay of San Francisco.

I try to go to LS at least once very two weeks, usually Monday mornings. Never shot at Markleys. I also go to Williams hill BLM a lot.

I think Williams Hill is a place that a friend of a friend mentioned before. A little far, but is it worth it?
