Just in case anyone didn't know, Turners is having a decent deal on Wolf yellow box. As far as I know, this is the best deal on non magnetic ammo that you can shoot at the outdoor ranges here in Socal. With AK's getting popular now, this is something we might not see again.

The price isn't anything spectacular, but you probably won't find it much cheaper...if you can find it at all. No case discount, but it is probably about 1/2 of what you would pay at the range counter. I'm in for a 1000.

Yeah, I think it's $6.95 at Angeles, where they demand mon-magnetic, natch... Not a great price, but certainly less than other options.

isn't it only the case that is magnetic?

The case is steel like all Wolf, but the jacket is pure copper and not bi-metal like other Wolf x39. All they care about is the bullet. It can't stick to a magnet.

Good find. I bought one box the other day at Turners to test it out "before it was on sale". I too am looking for a Summer solution.

I just ordered 300 rounds of that stuff from http://www.wideners.com/itemview.cfm?dir=18|744
If it shoots good, Im thinking about getting some of the .308 and 5.56

I need some brass cased stuff because American Shooting Center wont let you shoot steel case or steel core anything.
