View Full Version : Question regarding a Beta C Mag

07-26-2007, 7:02 PM
I went shooting earlier and the linked ammo guide came apart on me.Not sure what the part is exactley called. So basically if you turn the mag upside down the rounds will fall out. Can I send this out of state to the Beta Mag company to get fixed. Or can I buy the replacement part to fix it if the Beta Mag company will sell it to me. I should treat this just like buying replacement parts for any other mag right. Or am I screwed. The Beta Mag is 13 years old so maybe they dont sell parts for it anymore??? I am about to research it now.

Being that thats a preban Beta C mag i sure hope you can send it to them for repair.

Just contact C-Products and I'm sure they will fix it. I've heard of them fixing mags like that before.

I would contact BETA long before letting the people at C-Products touch it.

Here is an assembly guide.

I have a high-cap mag permit- yes, such a thing does exist. I sell betas to LEOs around here- you can get the replacemnt part from the company- they are good at not asking questions- the part is called the feed chain. It is removeable when you take the feed tower off. You can still use the mag without the chain- however, you will not get the last 18 or so rounds to feed out.

Have you used the dry-lube they come with?

YA, You guys are awsome. Thanks for the info. I will give the beta mag company a call and tell them my situation.
Na, I havent used the dry lube in it for years. Maybe that is what caused the issue?
