I got a very good deal on this 70's manufactured 10/22 but im curious to know what night be worn and in need of replacement. Took it out 2 weeks ago and out 200 rounds at least through it with no failure. When I bought it it was missing the buffer bolt so I replaced it with an aftermarket. I'm sure it was fired without that buffer.

Looks Fine to me

Shoot the crap out of it more :D

I have a 10/22 from the early 80's that was given to me brand new when I was 4... I tried to estimate that it has had somewhere in the vicinity of 50k to 75k rounds through it... still runs like a champ.

I think you already answered your question. If it works, enjoy it.

I took mine apart 10 years ago, after owning it for 15. I don't remember what it looked like.

It is a $200 gun. When needed, replace the whole thing.

Normal wear, and I do not see any receiver rail damage from the bolt stop being missing.
It's OK, shoot it some more!
