I do not know how to tell the differences between FAL kits, but I think this is an Imbel? It doesn't look like the S.A. I got before. How do you tell?

P.S. Before the search police come out, I searched and couldn't find an answer. :p

100% sure its an IMBEL kit.

An SA kit should have green paint on it and a RA or ZA prefix number engraved on the right hand side.

You can tell its an IMBEL kit because of the chipped black BBQ paint everywhere, the plastic furniture, the square-slot gasplug, the wear pattern of the barrel and the fact that it came with a tube bayo and a BFA.

Not all SA's have the baby diaper camo. Yours is an Imbel, the flash hider gives it away, as does the type-3 lower.

You tell by going to the fal files & asking, or looking at the part's i.d. forum.;)

I'm not building it. I got it in a trade, and wanted to confirm what kid of kit it is, as I am going to sell it. Thanks everyone.

I too would be interested in buying it from you. So, you can shoot me a PM if you like as well.

Imbel.
There are several reason's why this kit is not a SA/Rhodie kit. But the "square shouldered/flat faced" gas plug means it is definately an Imbel kit
