So I was in my storage this past weekend and found a few 30 round mags for a 10-22. I no longer have the rifle but if I was to purchase another one would I be able to use the mags?

Thanks for your help,

30 round mags? Most 10/22 mags are 25 rounders. Yes, I have a bunch of 10/22 high caps and I don't currently own a 10/22. If you buy a 10/22 now you can use your pre-Jan, 1 2000 legally owned high capacity mags.

Maybe they are 25 rounders its been 20 years since I have used them. Thanks for the info.

Get a 10/22 and use them with pride. Have fun!

Or drop them someplace on accident for someone else with a 10/22 to find.

PM me with the clues and GPS coordinates.

Hell, i'd place one just to trade mag.. er.. parts.. ya.

I don't think the DOJ monitors geocaching.com like they do here.

Doubt it. Way too many anti-gun liberals at GC already.

I've seen many threads on the GC forums about GCers carrying guns and most people at GC frown on it. I've seen other threads about encounters with hunters on the trail and GCers seem to be anti-hunting for the pmost part as well.

Some GCers here can chime in of course.

I have seen some 30 rounders. I can’t remember who made them but they were made before the Clinton ban and were some off brand and if I remember correctly had some problems. Mine are all Buttler Creek I think. Though my 50 rounder may be something else. I never use it because it does nothing but jam. Maybe it could be a candidate for the “Magcaching”

30 rounders are shorter than 25s. The 30s are double stacked like the 50s. 25 rounders are single stacked.
