Guess who's back from the land of the free, just in time to see our poor country take a turn for the worst. :(

The match in AZ was absolutely awesome, and I shot the best match that I ever have, placing 13th out of the 67 in my division. The match took longer than i anticipated so I never made it to the gun show, but another competitor was nice enough to break out his select fire G18 and let me run a mag which made it well worth the price of admission. :D

The week after I shot another match here in Piru, Ca and although my time was better, there was more competition, so I ended up placing 27th out of 121, but regardless I had a great time, and the folks at ISI really know how to put on one hell of a match.

So if you have a GLOCK and want to see what it's like to get into competition and win a few prizes, check out GSSF. The next SoCal match will be in April @ Raahauges in Norco.

It's good to be back, and I can wait to see everyone at the end of the month.

It's that time again. Join us at The Firing Line in Burbank (1060 North Lake Street, Burbank) for the NEXT LA C3 Monthly Shoot of 2012 which will be held on 11/30/2012 @ 7:00 PM.

Please review the following details pertaining to the meet:

Pistols - The occasional double tap is acceptable (but if it's get's out of line the privilege will be taken away), no holstered pistols, no drawing from a holster, no open carry (all standard indoor range safety rules apply)
Rifles - The only permitted rifles must be of handgun caliber (9mm, .40, .357, 5.7mm, etc... are acceptable). ARs/AKs of the 22lr variant are also welcome.
Shotguns - Unfortunately, given the size of the range (47ft), shotguns are NOT permitted.
Cost - $10, stay and shoot as long as you want!
*CalGunners get membership prices on ammo and rentals.
** Firing Line members are free to attend.

REMINDER: - When you're there your actions represent the entire CalGuns community. We should always take responsibility for our actions, and treat their facility with the utmost respect.

As usual, we'll be able to utilize their training room to eat dinner, hangout, chit-chat, and purchase swag. In addition, as usual they will be reserving an entire side of the range for us, and depending on the turnout we may have to take turns and/or expand into the other range. We'll also be taking up a collection for Costco pizza for anyone that is hungry and wants to eat. Typical donation is $2/person.

So, who's in? You know there is nothing better that you'd rather do on a Friday night than shoot some guns with fellow CalGunners!

* If you're interested in volunteering your time and helping coordinate this shoot, or one like it in your area, contact me for details. *

I almost forgot to mention that our very own C3 Regional Director (pennys dad), has called me out in an iron sights shooting completion.

The details are still be working out, but it involves an NRA target at 15yds with three shots. When Jacob loses he'll have to change his avatar for a period of 30 days to something along the lines of "I Lost to RoundEye" and for me vice versa.

So come out watch, enjoy, place bets, whatever, it'll be a sight to see for all.

See this link for details (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=642241).

Sorry party people, but I'll be somewhere in the air on my way back to LAX ex-DCA (Washignton D.C.). Enjoy the shoot and hopefully I'll see you all soon!

I'm in, I'll be bringing the fresh out of gun-jail LWRD M6 PSD-P for viewing but it will NOT be shot that evening due to range rules (so I won't even be bringing ammo for it)

I'll still be shooting my 9mm Taurus PT92 for the evening.

Anybody coming that has a Ruger LCR, J Frame Smith, or any other snubbie wheel gun they'd like to bring and let me run a few rounds through in either .38 or .357? I wanna pick up a wheel gun for revolver IDPA, and I know nothing about them other than I'd want a shorty.

Woohoo, another noob.

Great, we love meeting new members! Be forewarned these monthly shoots can get addicting.

Unfortuantely, you won't be able to shoot the M&P 15 at our Burbank events due to caliber limitations, but we have an event at LAX Firing Range in the first Wednesday of every month where you can, and their ranges extends out about 75ft.
