I'm trying to figure out what type of barrel this is (RRA, COLT, OLYMPIC etc)

Are there any markings on the barrel (usually on top, foward of the FSB)? Without those markings, it's not going to be easy.

You can rule out Olympic. It would have a bigger cone leading into the chamber.

I haven't bought it yet, its for sale (cheap) and I am looking for a barrel.

I need an olympic however, so I guess identifying it specifically is not really important.

Thanks for the help guys, (I'm glad I didn't just buy it, I wind up with alot of great deals on AR parts I can't use that way ;) )

I think it's a Wilson. The front sight is interesting as it has the exact same markings as on my 9mm upper. I got mine from Garrison MFG. and he uses Wilson barrels.

It's absolutely for the Colt/Rock River style setup.
Olympic style barrels have a much deeper breeching setup.
