here are 5 currently for sale. Pretty wide spread on asking prices. Lots of variables on old guns, condition, bluing, rust, wear, barrel condition, wood............... One of the guns on this link, the first one I think, looks new..............

http://www.gunbroker.com/Firearms/BI.aspx?Keywords=remington+model+12A

the prices run from $200 to just about $700

I have a 12c. Very nice little guns. Does yours have a round or Octagon Barrel? Crescent steel or plastic straight Buttplate? Mine has the Octagon Barrel and steel
crescent plate which I really like. I paid around 150.00 for mine which included FFL fee and shipping, but it needed a new bolt. That was still a very good buy though.

Does yours have a tang/peep sight?
Those alone can go as high as 200.00 Plus.

Actually the tang sight can be more valuable than a poor condition Model 12. As with any Vintage Arm, condition is everything when it comes to value. Can you post a pic? Very hard to say without atleast a pic or two and bore condition and functionality is also very important.

I'm guessing 1924 is the correct manufacture date. I have a 12A with a slightly higher # that I think was made in 1925.

If you want more certainty, you might check with the people on the Remington forum at rimfirecentral (http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/index.php).
