Saw these m14 receivers one smith enterprises. one lrb. same serial number.
Can they be seperated? Any issues with having the same serial number as another rifle but made by another company?

No problem. It's just a coincidence that they have the same serial #.

Shouldn't be a problem at all.
Different Manufacture & differetnt Model designations.
Intresting though.

Also, I wonder why he will not deal with Texans, hes from Texas..

Absolutely no problem whatsoever. It's kind of neat to have the same serial number from both manufacturers... wonder why that guy is selling...

I would guess he does not have a retail sales license required to collect tax on all intra-state commerce - inter-state is not taxed therefore he does not collect............

Either that or he only chooses to deal with people, in person, that he already knows...

Just as if I had an FFL at home like I did before, I would not want strangers coming to my house.

Bidding starts at 2K but they are what 8-900 bucks a piece and add the coolness factor........if the surplus parts were readily available......but you'd prob end up spending 6K to build two rifles........:chris:
