Guys
I recently took a renewed interest in my Ruger 10/22 Carbine that I purchased in the early 80's. I have showed it some love by replacing the barrell with a .920 Tactical Solutions barrell and V-Block, Hogue Overmold stock, Volquartsen Bolt Buffer, Bushnell 3x9x40 Scope, Caldwell Bi-Pod and PWS extended magazine release.
I'm now shifting my focus on the trigger assembly and am considering purchasing a "Trigger Kit" but noticed that a lot of them have the newer bolt release function that mine doesnt' have. My question is can I install one of these drop in kits with the new style bolt release or should I just do a complete polishing of the internals to lighten and smooth things out which is my primary goal?
