Sounds like a fun economic day at the range at around 10 bucks for 500 rounds.

Serious.... I think I got my 10/22 for about 220 a while back too. That turners deal is super.

Funny, mine was about $1 different than that. Different county I'm guessin'.

It's also a super deal for those without safes as Ruger now includes a lock too. (which I learned when I asked for a Safe Affidavit)

They're probably trying to reel customers away from the bass pro shop opening this weekend. Was in West Cov store on 07/18 they had 3 M1A's (Scout, standard/black and walnut) if anyone's looking

just dros'ed my 10/22 today. the price of ammo has been killing me on my ar builds. i was gonna build an AK but now that's on the backburner. my 9mm AR (pick up lowers from metroshot next week) and now my 10/22 are in the forefront due to ammo prices. the 10/22 should be fun once i get ahold of a mp5 stock kit. happy plinkin!

The last 10/22 I bought from Turner's was on sale for $139. That was only four years ago and it's still in the green wrapper that it came in. I took it out of the box 'cause I didn't want to take up all that room in my safe. The reason that it isn't built up yet is that I had other finacial commitments come up: 2- 50BMGs with NSXs, a 1919A6, etc.

I hope you guys will get more use out of yours than I'm getting with mine.

Did they only have a limited amount, or does it seem like they have a few to go around?

I paid for one today at the Kearny Mesa store. I will have to go back tomorrow to do the DROS because the computers were down again.

The guy who helped me was really nice about it. He had to write everything up by hand and run the numbers on a calculator. It was handled quickly and professionally, he even got the math right the first time.:p Usually in a situation like that the customer is made to feel like a pain for making the sales clerk write up the order instead of coming back when the computers are up. This wasn't one of those times. The clerk, Justin, came off as grateful for the business and only too happy to write up the order. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

DROS'd mine yesterday.

I can't believe turners charges a $5 Handling fee.

No biggy though cause I got a USP full size S/S PPT and Turner's only charged $30, so I came out even.

It's been open since Wednesday.
The indoor range is not open yet, but the indoor archery range is.

It's at the Victoria Gardens shopping complex in Rancho Cucamonga, off the 215 freeway.

Quick question ill ask here so i dont start another thread.... I picked up my 10/22 today and ive been looking at new stocks with a pistol grip. Do the AW characterisics apply to rimfire? i know the rule says "A semiautomatic centerfire rifle..." but i just wana make sure.

Proraptor....are you sure about that? You can put a folding stock Butler Creek on a 10/22?

Do you happen to have a reference for the exemption for rimfire?

Thx...

This is a pretty good legal reference every California gun owner should read: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=11&t=212690

Here is a perfectly legal 10/22:
