I own four pre-ban 30 round AR15 mags, I bought four PMag rebuilt kits for my featureless AR. I want to know if anyone has had trouble while using newer mags (30 rounders). I want to use them but I'm really not sure about taking them out of my home because how do I prove to LEO's that I have pre-bans....

Welcome to the forum. If you go to the top of the forum, there are stickied threads about exactly this. But the short of it is that 30round magazines are not illegal to possess, and burden of proof is on Law Enforcement unless you say something stupid. This assumes you're using the 30rd mags in a featureless non-BB firearm.

1st post and asking about pre-ban mags and rebuild kits.

As long as you destroy your four pre-ban magazines so they can never be made usable again, you may put together the Pmags into functional mags (In CA).

I dont play to the stupid "burden of proof" or "I found mags" crap like some of the other posters here.

Destroying the old ones are not required. There is nothing illegal about having worn out broken mag bodies or rebuild kits. Key is if you own lets say 20 +10 mags legally, you never have more than 20 assembled and functional. Spare parts...new, used, functional, broken, it doesnt matter, its just parts.
