Hey man, dig all those crazy colors!

They look purdy. What kind of velocity are you expecting from the 125 grain bullets?

My load book says around 3000 fps....

Good times! Glad Aaron was there to help out with initial measurements. He is spot on using that micrometer adjusting die - absolutely amazing.:)

Looks pretty. Personally, i'd save all those loads and spend a day at the range with a chronograph and some paper to see how each shoots out of your sticks while looking at accuracy.

For a fruit shoot, just load up a bunch of of the ballistic tips and you'll be good to go! All you need it 3 MOA :)

Not if you are trying to shoot a strawberry.

Hahahaha! Funny, but true!

Very nice looking loads though. Yours make mine look pretty lame. Mine are just your run of the mill 150 grn FMJ's in some not so shiny LC cases, haha. Good stuff though! Can't wait to hear how they shoot!:)

ll the loads in the grey boxes will be used at the fruit shoot to shoot paper with a very nice chrono aaron is going to bring (it has a printer lol). So the first part of the day will be shooting at paper with the chrono then it will be time to kill fruit

Looking good! All you missing now are some Varmint Rounds - nothing destroys fruit like a 110 grain hollow point .30 cal carbine bullet loaded into a .308 and departing the muzzle at around 3100 fps p-)

My first two .308 batches I spent some extra TLC and polished the brass and the bullets with extra fine steel wool untill they were practically white! Who says ammo can't be a thing of beauty! :)

Them thar are real purty. I'm sure they will all go bang.

On a side note I feel sorta like a freak when I take pictures like that. Not sure why, for some reason I start feeling all guilty or something. Like people will think I'm a wacko or something. Hmm . . . 38 years so far and ain't hurt nobody or no thing that didn't need hurting yet so I guess I'm keeping my wacko side in check. Damn media is doing this to me. Makes me feel like a criminal or whack job for admiring mechanical beauty. To me it's no different than a picture of many perfectly identical things, like a big row of band new shiny Corvettes.

Don't you mean MOW? (minute of watermelon)

Or maybe:

MOP (minute of Potato or even Pomegranite)
MOO (minute of Orange)
MOB (Minute of Bannana)

:D

Nice group picture.
I know what your saying about the pictures, but you know what you should be proud of your work and show them off. To us they are neat.

When WWZ (World War Zombie) gets under way, you'll be a highly sought and respected citizen - there may even be forced and continuous mating involved :D

And to think that you can assemble Match grade ammunition at the current price of Korean War surplus p-)

I just noticed the moly and non-moly. You're not shooting all that ammo out of the same gun are you?

Yes I am but Im going to clean the barrel really well between....All the moly stuff will be shot first to get chrono readings and groups. Ill then clean my barrel really well and switch to shooting fruit

155gr SS
175gr VLD
178gr A-Max.

I used those this past weekend. They are very nice targets. I just printed them and used my staple gun to hold them on. I used a shoot*n*c target to verify zero and have at it.

@ 100yds, I can see the holes with my Leupold 9x. :D

I bet you should be able to do that even better with your newest scope...

The problem I had was the area behind the hole was a little light so it was difficult at first to see but I quickly figure what to look for. I think I was just to used to looking at shoot*n*c targets.

That and I didn't want to put any holes in my target that were not exactly where I wanted them. I didn't bring that many.
