.... I'm looking to build my first AR. I am a leftie, and will need the ability for ambidextrous mag release and safety, multi-caliber capability. Going featureless.

Who has a stripped lower with ambidextrous capability?

Not aware of leftie lowers.

Some lefties I know use this:

Many lefties don't use one though.

However, an ambi safety lever is much more useful, and an ambi charging handle (BCM and Rainier make nice ones) is very nice to have.

I've seen complete southpaw rifles, up to and including left-sided ejection port. So, there must be somebody make ambi stuff. Whether I can find the parts for such a build is the big question.

Stag is the leader in Left hook uppers.. I know they have them readily avalible and are decent uppers.. Not the flavor of most guys here on CG but I've never heard of them Doug anything an others couldn't. Seems like their CQ is up to par also use mil spec standards if I remember correctly

Yeah, I'm pretty sure those were the ones I saw. Thanks; I'll consider them when I'm looking for uppers. :D
