I have been trying to find a good one and the one I just ordered from NCStar is completely screwed up. 3 of the 4 screws dont work and the back two mounting holes dont line up to insert a screw.

Who makes a good weaver/picatinny see-thru mount for the 10/22 so I can use a scope and ironsights? I want to mount this BSA red dot but nothing seems to be working out for me.

Do you mean see through scope mounts and not the rail? Have you checked out kwik site mounts?

I have tried them but I want to mount a BSA red dot. I bought the NCStar one on ebay but it is not anything decent.

NCstar is Chinese-made crap. You see a lot of NCstar crap at gun shows.

Well, I am sending my mount back for an exchange part. Hopefully it works out. I wish I knew before I bought it.

Does anyone else besides NCstar make a good see-through weaver/picatinny mount?

Something to keep in mind is when the scope rides high on the rifle is you'll have a more dificult time getting a good cheek weld on the stock. In addition, the further the scope is away from the line of the bore, the more canting will affect your grouping. Just something to keep in mind.
