Since we were visiting some of the wives relatives in wonderful town of Monmouth Illinois last month, we decided to go to the Rock Island Arsenal Museum in Rock Island, IL. This please is awesome. They have a a huge amount of firearms there, from all over the world, from both allies and enemy's. I would suggest anyone going through Iowa/Illinois go and see the museum. Don't bring any weapons, as it on a US military base.

I went there two years ago and had a great time. They also have a small collection of armor outside and down the road. Interestingly, there is a railroad bridge crossing the river there that is A Lincoln's original claim to fame. As a young attorney, he fought against the mighty steamboat companies on behalf of the railroads.

Far upper right. I know it's a thumbhole, but it almost looks like a MM grip in wood.
