does anyone have any experience with roggio barrels, good or bad? any input would be appreciated.
I've heard tons of bad about Roggio Arsenal I would pick something known to be good.

How about this: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=314869
If I were to buy a barrel for an AR-15 I'd go here http://www.fulton-armory.com/ar-15-barrels.aspx and pick up a Criterion barrel (made by a subsidiary of Krieger Barrels). The barrel makes the rifle what it is, so my preference is for the best I can afford.
Then there are these: http://www.shilen.com/ar15Barrels.html
And these: http://hartbarrels.com/ar-15.php I recently ordered a Hart AR-15 barrel specially made for an experimental upper. Hart was the only manufacturer that could/would supply this specialized barrel.
Of course you are probably looking for something less expensive, but even so, go with a known name retailer or manufacturer with a good reputation.
If you want a Shilen barrel get a rainier ultramatch. 365 for a drop in.

i just got my Rainer select in the mail yesterday actually. its was 232.95 with shipping, the fit and finish is excellent with 5 groove polygonal rifling with 1:8 twist. And also, plus one for the Ultramatch, great barrels.
