Just wondering when people first started using BBs? When I bought my WASR in 2008??? It seemed like BBs were starting to become well known but still only accepted at some gun stores and mostly on ARs

I guess Im Just curious when you became aware of the BB and got/built your first rifle that had one. To this day that WASR is my only complete rifle with a BB.

I think 2005 was the start of the bullet button. Before that it was top loading AR's, M1a's, and SKS's if you didn't have a RAW.

The day I bought my first AR... 2009... By then it seemed well known luckily they invented the raddlock. I got it right when the prince system was going out

I tried it myself for a few months.

Tried a hammerhead and a solar tactical grip wrap.

The grip wrap was the easiest to use, but even then it felt wrong, and was difficult to get used to.

I have since moved back to the BB with UBBTs...and even though I give up my few high-cap mags and my quick mag changes...it feels a lot more the way its supposed to be.

Needless to say, the AR is my fun plinker.

The mini-14 is my go-to rifle for HD still due to its featureless by design nature.

I think it was 2006 for me or was it start of 2007?

I'll see how it goes for me. I have an AK with the mmg and enjoy shooting that. I went with the solar tactical wrap on the AR, so we'll see how I like that.

Just wondering when people first started using BBs?

I got my first bb gun when I was about 9 or 10.
It was a cross man pump master 760.
I would do some damage when you pumped it up 10 pumps...

Ha, i remember those pump cross man rifles. Pumped it up about 15 times and it would go thru those old metal trash cans.

Good times.

I haven't started yet, but I will in a week or so when I get my lefty Stag with a bb on it. Luckily the Stag doesn't have any "evil" features other than a pistol grip, so I should be able to switch between featureless and mag locked whenever I feel like it, should be a fun rifle.
