I am looking for a case that will fit four rifles in the standing up position. The longest gun I have is 48 inches (Remington 700P). I have found case from Pelican and Casecruzer that will fit 1 long gun and that's it. Anyone here have a hard case that will fit my requirements? And no, I don't feel like making one either.

A case with an interior length of >48" that's big enough to hold 4 rifles? None that I know of unless you start looking into shipping containers, maybe some large cases for music instruments/equipment?

ah, even if that case exists, you know how heavy and big it's going to be...

Supply and demand. If you want to store that many rifles in one box, you're going to be paying for it since it's not something they make nearly as many of compared to the smaller cases. Plus, anyone that needs to store that many guns in one hard case can probably afford it ;)

It’s actually not THAT bad if you look at the cost for buying a pelican case for each individual rifle...

+ what Merc1138 said =)

To the OP, I would just check the pelican site and look at case dimensions and see if you can find anything that will work for you. You may have to come to a compromise and get two cases …

Something like this would be more affordable…

What did I do there?

If it’s promoting my own thread... maybe a little guilty, but it’s sold pending funds anyways... :D

Try SKB cases. I have this one:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/287803-REG/SKB_1SKB_H5020W_XL_ATA_Stand_Case.html
I used to use it to transport my cymbal stands/drum hardware, but since I don't play that much anymore, I occasionally use it to take rifles guns to the range (I don't usually take that many rifles, unless I'm meeting friends who don't own rifles). Be warned, it's big (but long enough for your 700). I've been thinking of customizing the interior for the rifles, but for now, my rifles get put in soft cases and then into the hard case. It also carries my ammo and other range accessories.

SKB makes smaller cases or one of their hard golf bag cases would work.

I use the SKB 2 gun and I can get four scoped long rifles in there. No touching no banging. Two below with divider between and two on top. That's four Rem 700 with scopes and Occasionally the savage 210 with a scope.

That might do it. Thanks
