Is the Kriss carbine classified as a assault weapon under CA law? The law said if there is a pistol protruded under the action of the gun, then the weapon is a assault weapon. The Kriss Vector has the grip behind the action, so it is not a assault weapon and does not require a bullet button. is the correct? Please give me some advice. Thanks
Frank

It needs a mags lock, 10rd or less mags, and must be at least 30in in its shortest form, all of which can be accomplished here in Ca

Yep, or remove evil features. General rule for rifles is if you can mag lock it to make it legal there is a featureless version too. Pistols and shotguns maybe not have a featureless option.
