Hey folks,

Those of you in Southern California have probably noticed that it's finally cooled off... which means this is the BEST time of year to try for that Rifleman patch!

We've got another shoot at Burro Canyon coming up on the 20th and 21st of October -- just two weeks before the famous Calguns Zombie Night Shoot!! (http://www.calguns.net/zombie/) You don't want to miss this event (yes, I will be there too). But if you want to give your rifle a solid function check, and learn "professional grade" rifle fundamentals before then, now is your best chance.

I've already got eight sign-ups, so don't wait too long. Sign up through the Appleseed site (http://appleseedinfo.org/search-states.php?filter=CA&statename=California), and don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions or concerns.

We'll have one more shoot at Burro on Dec. 15-16, so if you miss your Rifleman patch this time, you'll have another shot at it then. Sew it on your favorite jacket and wear it for the holidays! :chris:

See you there!

What, no christmas seed?;)

Fourteen pre-reg'd now. Still room for a few more.

For those coming, we'll be at North 2. We'll get you checked in at our line, no need to visit the main range office first. See you soon!

I checked the map, looks like North 2 allows some longer-range shots. Are you planning on having 100 or 200 yards as well? Or the basic 25 yards with .22 rimfire?

North 2 is only about 110 m long even if we stretch it -- not really long range. I am planning to try a brief 100 m module on Sunday, but we'll be fighting the clock with the winter closure hours. Most shooting will be at 25 m. Best way to learn almost all the skills.

Feel free to post up there or here. Questions? What to do next? Got your own pictures? I'll be here. :)
