Hellooooooooooooooooooooo.....................What ? No deer hunters? Or nobody willing to give up their secret hunting spot. 'Cmon guys, X9A is a lottery tag, there will be more deer by the time you get drawn for that zone again. :D

You landed an X tag. Consider yourself lucky enough. You'll be hard pressed to find someone willing to give up the goods...

X6B here! I thought I was the only Calgunner to apply.:D

I have always applied for X6A but now see there are more Mulies one zone over and there are a few better lakes for trout the day before the opener.:D

All I got this year was a preference point... :( I might go get a bear tag to try and make up for it, or even a hog.

I sure do! Last fall I bought a Stevens 200 in .30-06 for this years hunting season with the intent of eventually putting on an aftermarket trigger and stock. At the same time I bought the mounts, rings, and scope which are all sitting in the safe - not even assembled yet. :( I gotta get out when this is done! Actually have a fishing trip with the guys up to Bishop this next weekend, I know a place to shoot up there so I might just assemble it and try to zero it in.

Bishop is some serious good fishing! Good luck, lemme know how the Stevens shoots. I have heard good things about those guns.
