Greetings from the IE, (yes there is more than a few of us)

I wanted to get involved in a forum just becuase my gun collection is growing and I thought it would be smart to keep up with the current laws and regualtions govering California gun owners, as well as to gain some insight of purchaisng certain upgrades or parts, even beter, which ones to steer clear of.

Also I have become a bit curious with Tactical/ Competive arms used in competition. Mainly looking to get involved in three gun and begin to learn how to shoot long range rifles.

I have always grown up around guns, just not the powder types. I have probably shot more non-gun powder rounds than the other, among some of those... playing competive paintball for several years, but most of that is now changing.

I am currently shooting at a friends ranch in North County SD, and near me a place reffered to me by local officails, I refer to as "the Junk Yard" but is next to Maywood Gun Club, near lake Elisnore. I am curious if anyone else has found better outdoot areas to go target shooting, maybe with a little better enviroment. (not comfortable taking my children there to learn how to shoot.)

Currently in my quiver:
Mossberg 500 12 gauge
S&W M&P 15-22, the "Bunnny Assassin" (best purchases I have ever made)
Glock 19, with a TLR2 "what you ise to get back to your rifle"
Remington 760 30.06 ...was sold and transfered to me by a relitive... don't really know what to do with it, I guess I can start going deer hunting??
And in the middle of AR(legal registered Lower) build. (suggestions are welcome)

On the docket to purchase ..hopefully soon
FN SLP MK-1 Competition
1911 45 (really dont know what make to buy)
Remington 700 .. hopefully to add a JAE stock to, although I heard the wait is pretty bad for Civi's.

Well thats all I have for an intro... Thanks for having a great reference forum like this I am sure I will enjoy it.

Thanks.

Welcome!

One place I like to take my nephews is Bee Canyon over in Hemet. Should be open in about a month.

My folks live in Elsinore/temecula and it is good to hear about places to shoot in that area.

Welcome to the jungle! You'll have fun here and learn a lot if you listen to the right guys. Hope your collection grows too.

Also, where exactly is Inland Empire exactly. I've been to lake elsinore but never heard anywhere near there called that.
