Looking to buy 7.62x54r ammo, lookin for 100-200 rounds or so(not looking to spend retail price, I'm a college student making minimum wage -_-). Rounds have to be nonmagnetic as my local gun range doesnt allow steel, steel core, or bi-metal. Just send me a pm with the round count and your price. I will only do local( my truck only gets 10-11 mpg) or if you can ship. Thanks

Try Amoo Bros, they had some Russian "match" that is non-magnetic. Mine came in a orange box but it is corrosive.

There might be religious people with a stash they would give you for free, but too late for that.

haha well if they're willing to deny a fellow calgunner just because of personal beliefs, I'd rather not deal with them.

You will get your wish, and it won't just be ammo.

Btw, the vast majority of the population over the age of 30 knows college students don't know squat. It is important to lay low opinion wise when you are one, especially when begging.

Threatening me on my own thread? If you have something against me, that's fine(trust me, I'm used to it), but don't be disrespectful to me on my own thread. You have a problem with me, you send me a private message and we can discuss it. Don't just post on my thread to say people won't give me ammo, you're helping no one.

Also, I'm currently in the process of a gun trade. Not only are there people here who don't judge, but apparently they're willing to do business with me. If you're not, I could really care less.

LOL that is a threat?

People do make lasting impressions from first impressions.

You get value out of your avatar and and forum name, which anyone can see. I noted that it might limit your market. It is good advice. I hope you don't take it.

All my x54 is magnetic, l looked again. SG Ammo and Surplus ammo.com can put you on an email list and they HAVE, in the last year, had small quantities of Yugo non magnetic. It is hard to find in surplus. The retail brands, Sellier, etc, are non magnetic, I think, but are $12/20 before shipping.

Where do you live? I may have some if you are on the peninsula.

Sign up for Big 5 sporting goods e-mail list. When they send out coupons for 15% off print out the coupon and go get 20 round boxes for about 13.00 per box out the door.

Mosins are fun to shoot, however it can be pricey to shoot if you only have access to a indoor range.

You may want to consider getting something with a less expensive round. I recently passed on a rifle chambered in 6.8 spc for this reason.

Stock up on mental ammo because some ranges will let you shoot them during rain/wet weather conditions. Simply ask. I know Burro Canyon in Azusa does this. Good luck.

yea I actually just joined Big 5's email list. Normally, I only shoot .22's and my .410 but I just got the Mosin and I'd like to be able to shoot it instead of never using it.

Big 5 is the best i have found for off the shelf range friendly mosin ammo. My friends and picked up a few boxes from cheaperthandirt for $16 a box, but we ordered other items as well so we were paying shipping either way.

I suggest you include your location in your profile. That way people who are local to you will know that they are local to you. When you post that you want to buy ammo at below market prices and prefer local pickup you are more likely to find sellers if you don't make them do research to find out where you are.
