View Full Version : Winchester 1895 value?
A buddy wants to sell me a very nice condition 1895 in 270, it looks like a newer rifle. What are they worth? Are they desireable?

You sure it's in .270? Winchester 1895s didn't come in .270 that I'm aware of.

I totally forgot about the 90's made ones, I was thinking the original run
Ok so how about the questions???
Out on a limb here but due to the 270 being an odd caliber for this particular rifle, hence it was never an original offering kinda puts a dampener on it, I would guestimate about $800-$900 for the right person.
Ya they made 30-06 too, i like 270 better. I know what you mean but i like the idea of a flat shooting deer caliber and for 550 i think its a steal, its in really nice shape. It would be a nice companion to my marlin 444XLR

If you can get it for $550, that's a good price. I see a couple on online auctions for $700-$800
Thanks! More so i really like it, but i love lever and revolvers. It should only go up in value
