After banging away the parts you don't need on the old SKS, the actual install of the kit is extremely easy. I highly recommend doing a trigger job (on the seer) before the conversion so it doesn't feel like a DAO+bullpup trigger linkage. Very pleased with the look, feel, pointability and shootability of the rifle. It truly feels like this was how the sks was meant to be.

Note: This mag will only feed HP's flawlessly, FMJ's beyond 19 rounds bind up in the curve of the mag and will cause jams. On the hunt for a replacement.

Used to be a resident until I escaped in 2008.

Cool. Personally I like my Yugo the way it is, but yours turned out pretty cool. Wouldn't mind having both. Maybe when I escape too.

You do know that you can install this stock (as long as you replace the correct number of 922r parts) and it will be Cali legal right? The guys that make it are there, they made it so that it could be compliant.
