Hi Everyone, Thinking of getting an Amsec RF6528 & I can't find the thickness of the steel used on the body of the safe. I've Googled & read their website, brochure, etc. It gives the thickness on their other safes but not the RF 6528. Thanks! Bill
ps, I'll call Amsec in the morning if no one knows...

I own an older model - TL 15 instead of TL 30 - and I have no idea.
Remember the TL 30 is for just the door; TL-whatever X6 would be door, all 3 sides, top and bottom.
Interested in knowing as well. I remember reading somewhere the total side thickness, but they didn't mention the inner and outer metal thicknesses separately.

I called Amsec today & talked to sales. They didn't know so they checked with their engineering department & called me back. The outer steel on the body is 12 Ga. & the inner steel on the body is 10 Ga. The door is 11 Ga...

Thanks - gauge to inches for steel here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheet_metal#Gauge - among other places.
10 Ga - .1345"
11 Ga - .1196"
12 Ga - .1046
