Hello to all,

My buddy last night at the dinner table was telling me about his issues assembling his Frontier Arms polymer lower to his newly bought upper.

he told me he had trouble with the front hing pin as the spring flew out of the tube when he tried to remove/pull the pin out too much.

In addition after getting past the front pin he had trouble in the rear near the pin that holds the buffer. He said he had to file some of the upper plastic area away cuz he couldn't get the charging handle to retract becuase of it.

So when I get my upper towards the end of this year what else will I encounter. What other issues have you had??

i have the lower on a 16 BCm upper and CMMG 22lr upper. no problems at all. i did not have to modify the lower in any way.
yesterday i shot about 500 rounds of pmc 556 and 1200 winchester bulk 22lr. in total i shot about 1600 of 556 and 1800 in the 22lr.

the pins are a little tight but i would rather have it tight then loose. after some use the pins are easier to pull.

Have you gotten any light strikes with the 22 upper? I'm getting the problem a lot. Also, are you using the stock hammer or a blowback hammer?

The lower is all original. Serial number I think is in the 10k range. I haven't had any light strikes, misfire or ftf. I'm using the Winchester bulk 22lr. The ammo is so cheap that the bullets wiggle around in the case.

No problems regular hammer. Taccom3 .22lr upper. On my AR9 there were issues and eventually I had to change the FCG

No problems here. Built one for my son with a Delton 556 upper with approx +1500 rounds through it already. Very tight pins at the beginning but smoothed out later.

Only issue I had was the hammer is too wide for the 9mm bolt. I had to replace that. Otherwise, the lower is fine.
