Happened to be visiting my good pal's gun store today. One of his firearms reps dropped by to say hello and told us about Nemo Firearms, a new company in Montana which is making match grade piston and DI AR pattern rifles in all hunting and sniping calibers including 300WinMag; 338LapuaMag; 30-06 Sprg; 270. The gun is called the Omen. This is one bad *** gun.

CA compliant guns will be produced.

I will own one of these. I was planning on a REPR but the Omen Standard is the same price. Imagine a piston driven 300WinMag AR. Holy crap.

Different 338, not a Lapua. Can't fit a .588" casehead.

Can't imagine what they use for mags for long-action, magnum bolt-face cartridges.

Their prices look like they are hoping for some gov't money. Good luck with that.

300 win mag semi auto AR? Imagine how fast you would burn a barrel on that?

300 win mag barrels have a useful life of. 1-1.5k, a lot less with rapid semi auto fire

That's why you get it in .30-06. Better barrel life than .300 Win Mag and better ballistics than .308 Win.

ah yes, the 100k AR. I know that seems excessive, but it makes the 50k production model seem cheap.
