I'm thinking about putting together a Beowulf AR. I heard about some ammo issues but other then that most people ask me why I want that. I reply because I can. Any feed back about a Beowulf would be greatly appreciated!

its a fun gun to shoot what more reason do you need? I love mine and it forced me into reloading since i didn't want to deal with the cost / availability issues with ammo.

Just got a AWS Beowulf upper today from AA after waiting six weeks (AA originally said 10-12 weeks). 100% worth the wait. This is going to be a fun build.

I thought hard (for over a year) on big bore AR options but selected the .50. If you hunt then use it to on pigs or a black bear. If you don't hunt then... just own it!

Still waiting for ammo so what everyone says is true... Ammo IS hard to get so stock up when you can get it or reload.

Welcome aboard! As suggested above, you'll be better off reading/asking in the centerfire rifles subforum. Most folks don't look into the "new here" area for Qs to A.

Have fun with that monster!
