I have 860 rounds of Lake City 7.62 Match ammo. I believe its manufactured in 1972. I have 42 20rd boxes unopened and 1 opened for pictures. The white box is labled on one side 7.62 Nato, M 118 Lot Lc 20-25, 173 grains 2550fps. The other side says MATCH with "Lake City Army Ammunition Plant" on it. The bottom of the round is stamped LC 72 Match. I am asking for $600 for 860rds. Email for pics. FTF LA area preferred.

If you want smaller amount I will be willing to break it to 15 per box. (5 boxes or more per purchase at a time please.)

I would also be interested on trading this ammo for some Federal American Eagle Ammo (the red/black box stuff 150gr). (1box of match per 2 boxes of AE 150gr full metal jacket).

Corrosive? (I dunno if i want corrosive ammo thru my gun tho...)

Yet, I believed US Army considers non-corrosive ammo only to have a shelf of 30yrs.

So, please provide more info.

How has it been stored? It should be fine, and the brass is really something to hand on to.

It is non corrosive. Shoots tight groups out of my savage. The only reason I am selling it is because the head space on my savage is on the tight side and combined with a .308 chamber its a pain to load and chamber. I can cycle it through the socom but it would be such a waste of good ammo when i have cheap surplus to shoot. I have pic available if anyone want to check it out. If anyone knows anymore about this ammo let me know. Its been sealed in the original ammo can.
